We’ are proud to deliver the finest Cornish seafood to your door – but just as proud of how we do it.

From pot to plate, we work hard to ensure we have done all we can to provide the most sustainable seafood to your door.

Responsibly Sourced, Locally Caught

Our lobsters are hand-caught by small-scale Cornish fishermen using traditional pots that minimise seabed damage and help protect young or undersized lobsters. We work directly with trusted fishers who respect the sea – born and raised on these shores with the foresight to want to protect the industry

We never buy from industrial trawlers or out-of-region suppliers, our seafood has taken a small journey to make it to our kitchen. That means fewer food miles, fresher produce with better traceability, and full confidence in where your seafood comes from.

Zero Prep, Zero Waste

All our boxes are pre-prepared by professional chefs, with exact portions, so you get everything you need – and nothing you don’t, our Lobster Box ethos of, easy to plate full flavoured foods. No plastic trays of wilted veg, no half-used sauces. Just beautifully balanced dishes, ready to enjoy packaged in the most sustainable packaging available within our industry.

 

We’ are also working hard behind the scenes to reduce waste in our own kitchens – donating surplus where we can, and constantly improving our prep process to use every part of the catch, whether that be through stocks for our sauces or meals for our team, nothing goes to waste.

 

Thoughtful Packaging

Your box arrives chilled and ready to enjoy. Packed in wool-lined recyclable packaging and reusable ice packs. We’re moving towards 100% biodegradable materials – and we encourage you to return your packaging to us, free of charge, so we can reuse what we can. Less plastic, less landfill, more care.

As a seasonal business, we respect the natural rhythms of the sea. That means offering less when the waters are rough, or the catch is lean. It's better for the fishers, better for the future of seafood, and ultimately better for you.
