At Lobster Box, we believe great food deserves great care — from sea to doorstep.
That’s why every delivery is packed using Woolcool: an award-winning, 100% biodegradable insulated packaging made from natural sheep’s wool. Combined with reusable gel ice packs, it creates a temperature-controlled environment that keeps your food fresh, safe, and ready to enjoy — even on long journeys down the A30 or across the UK.
Woolcool is trusted for transporting everything from fresh food to life-saving medicines. We've put it through rigorous in-house testing to ensure it meets our high standards — keeping your seafood chilled well below the required temperature throughout delivery.

Local delivery is available Wednesday through to Saturday

Delivering to the whole of Cornwall (inclusive of the whole coastal and inland locations).

Delivery incurs a delivery fee at the checkout.

Deliveries are made between 8am - 6pm

We will send you a dispatch notification once your order has left the kitchen and is on its way.

Food is delivered in Wool lined temperature controlled packaging & can be left in a safe place should you not be in to receive your delivery.

Should you not be in to receive your delivery we will always leave the package in a safe location until your return, should it not be left in an obvious location we will take a photo of where your package has been left and text or email it to you.

If the delivery date is missing we have already sold out for that particular day / delivery area - however should you want / require something for a specific day, please do reach out to us on: info@lobsterboxcornwall.co.uk we will always do all we can to meet your specific needs.

Dispatched via National Courier & delivered on your chosen delivery date. We use Parcel force next day delivery services, often upgraded to a before 12 service as this is by far the most reliable service available.

Please note that your national delivery will require to be signed for, should you not be in for collection your delivery driver will take your package to the local depot / post office for collection. We cannot be responsible for any national deliveries which you were not in to receive. Please ensure you will be in or available to collect from your local depot on the delivery day.

Food is dispatched in Wool Cool temperature controlled packaging along with Gel Ice packs which keeps food fresh for up to 48 hours.

We email you a notification once food has been dispatched.

There are some restrictions on some remote on areas, islands & UK postcodes couriers offer next day delivery services to.

Due to Royal Mail strikes & low work force with other courier services very occasionally next day services are not available. We take full responsibility for all food, packaging up until the point of delivery. This, at times, involves using faster delivery services such as, for example, Parcel force before 10am service.

We will work hard to ensure the correct service has been used ensuring the greatest chance of delivery success. Very occasionally we may still encounter problems which are completely out of our control.
